Review: Fallen Angel, Dark Scribe

HELL! What a ride!
I wasn’t sure about the whole BDSM erotica thing but I really loved this book. Some parts made uncomfortable reading for me, but I soldiered on and found it very much worthwhile. I found myself becoming more and more intrigued by the central male character and his intentions. DL certainly had me on the edge of my seat more than once.
Mr Scribe describes our young heroine effortlessly page after page. She’s just like me (and you, too) which makes it easy to imagine yourself in the same situations as she manages to get herself into.
I’ve just downloaded the second book in the trilogy and can’t wait to start…

Review: Her Private Tutor, Anne Gaston

The Kindle was made for books like these!

This story is deliciously erotic, with wonderful threads of emotion running through the centre. Ms Gaston knows exactly how to turn on her readers with this take of a young girl exploring her sexuality with the expert help of an older, more experienced woman.

I adore the gorgeous Francesca: her naiveté, her petite frame and her beauty would be all too much for me to resist too, so I can understand why Josephine is all of a flutter and becomes utterly enchanted by her.

Can’t wait to read more from this author…

Review: The Sexual Life of Catherine M, Catherine Millet

This is a brave work by anyone’s standards. Catherine M is a Parisian art critic. By day, she is an art expert and well-respected member of society. By night, she frequents clubs where she fulfils her need for sex with multiple partners, often at the same time.

What I loved about this book is that despite the absence of sensuality at times, I found the narrative extremely arousing. The descriptions of some of the scenes had me disappearing for some ‘me’ time with astonishing regularity.

For sure, this is a book that will remain on my physical bookshelves for years to come. It’s fairly well-thumbed and will no doubt be read countless times more…
